David McClintock serves as the Medical Director of Pathology Informatics at The University of Chicago Medicine. His current informatics research interests include LIS optimization and workflow analysis, digital pathology, decision support in pathology, and education. In addition to his informatics duties, he also serves as the Medical Director of Point of Care Testing, Associate Medical Director of UC MedLabs (labs outreach program), and Laboratory Director of the Clinical Resource Center (CRC). On the faculty side, he is an Assistant Professor and Co-Director of a new Introduction to Clinical and Research Informatics course at The University of Chicago.
